Assalamu Alikum and welcome to our website, which is a “virtual halaqa”(religious gathering) that you are most welcome to attend!
Since 2008, we have come together every Wednesday evening at a halaqa in the Waterloo Masjid in Waterloo, Canada, to listen to and interact with learned Sisters who have presented to us a series of enlightening presentations on various Islamic topics which we are happy to share with you.
Each presentation is approximately 90 minutes long and is of great interest to both Muslims and those who wish to learn about Islam, and how it is lived in our daily lives.
Our list of presentations, with fascinating new topics, will continue to grow, InshaAllah, so check back often!
